Coachella 2013 Fashion
Did you go or are you going to Coachella? Galpal’s my fashion recommendation is simple, layer! During the day you can bare the bikini, shorts and even rock your wedge heels. In the evening throw on some flats and cover up with a maxi dress, long skirt, or long tank. Make sure you stay hydrated, dance, and most important make lots of new life long friends! Check out our festival fashion on LALY.
SXSW Interactive
I was fortunate enough this year to attend SXSW Interactive. Here is my personal feedback on the conference!
1. If you are looking to meet innovative, cutting edge and forward thinking people this is the conference for you! Being my first time in both Austin and SXSW everything was a new experience. Austin was a pleasant surprise and not representative of Texas. It exudes a free thinking more liberal energy as if Haight Asbury crashed Texas. So with both a free thinking energy and innovative crowd it was bound to be a great experience.
2. The networking and learning opportunities were endless. I was able to learn about the next frontier of interactive fashion, women leading the internet, and my favorite style going viral. These were all key sessions for my business and lead by industry leaders with great insight.
3. The challenges with SXSW was that they didn’t plan for such a large attendance and many sessions were oversold and not properly organized. Their shuttle service was nice but they could use more. Finally you have to map out your sessions because they are so far apart from each other. It’s very hard to do anything back to back.
I definitely plan to go next year and the memories and friends I made are more than worth the cost!
It has been 3 weeks since our BeautyBreakThru fashion makeover and I am still remembering what a great time we had. We woke up on Saturday morning on a mission to change Catharine’s life who struggles with cancer. As the day progressed I realized what an amazing and strong spirt she had. Thank you Cortney and Catharine for including me in this makeover experience. Live life to the fullest everyday!
Daniela Cunha Lay is an amazing artist who has graced us with her wearable art exclusively on LALY designs. We were proud to launch DCL Street Wear early last year. Now it’s time to really show the world how her art translates into fashion. She finishes every piece by hand and each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. You can purchase DCL Street Wear on our online store at lalydesigns.com. Here is how we rocked it for her look book! Thanks to all involved, LALY loves you!

Last Friday we had the opportunity to participate on the fashion, art and music online show of the exciting Bianca Starr. We got to the set and were blown away by the professionalisam and creative energy in the room. They really have a great eye for talent and great energy. Bianca wore three designers a dress by J.X, Earths Ellements jewelry and Black Iris Creations hair piece all available on LALY. LALY was rocking deeFind shoes and J.X dress. Make sure you tune in every Friday to watch this new show that is bringing the bay to the world. WATCH OUT!

Every girl deserves to shine! LALY & SOLZ have come together to offer the mirror-faced SOLZwatch in an exclusive, limited edition LALY PINK! For every watch purchased, we are making a donation to 10x10act.org, a charity which helps build global awareness by giving every girl an opportunity for education — which we believe is key part of development. Education should not just be a dream but a reality. In addition, every purchase includes a ticket to a private screening of “Girl Rising” on March 7th – a documentary film created to see what happens when every girl is giving the opportunity to shine. Join the cause, show off your LALY PINK SOLZwatch and shine!
